Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, known today for the comprehensive, specialized care it provides patients of all ages, opened its doors in 1983 as a small sports medicine clinic for high school athletes. Founded by Dr. Thomas A Brady, the father of Central Indiana sports medicine, Forté originally operated out of IU Health Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis.
Forté was in need of a re-brand and came to us to help determine their new direction. Formerly known as Methodist Sports Medicine, there was a need to break free from the confusion that surrounded its name and affiliation with Indiana University.
Creative Strategy
We began with an extensive Brand Workshop with marketing executives, which culminated in the development of two separate mood boards. Once the client selected a path, we published their Brand Guidelines, which included a new logo, color palette, messaging, and best practices for communicating to audiences. The Guidelines also helped inform new creative campaigns. The new name, Forté, stands for getting patients back to what they do best.
