Cork & Barrel is an “Irish Gastropub” serving the Central Texas area. The brainchild of clients we’ve worked with on other successful projects, the owners tapped us when it came to launch a new brand.
If you’re around long enough in the advertising world, you sometimes get the chance to work with clients who become friends. For Cork & Barrel, what started out as a paper napkin meeting about a secret project, eventually turned into an opportunity to help launch a successful brand. Our job was to take the concepts and bring it to life.
As with many branding projects, Cork & Barrel began as a series of discovery meetings that led to a workshop with C&B owners. From that intense workshop, mood boards were developed, a path was chosen, then turned into a comprehensive set of guidelines that informed a world of marketing collateral, including craft brew labels and other elements seen both inside the restaurant (e.g., wayfarer signage, menus, apparel) and outside the venue (business cards, letterhead, swag).
